Designed to fill the needs of school and studio potters, the Brent Model B now comes with a 1/2 hp, 5 amp, permanent magnet DC motor and new digital PWM control, which automatically adjusts torque and speed based on load while delivering superior pedal response.
It centers 50 lbs.and has an all steel construction for strength and durability.
The legs are powder coated (new in 2006) for greater durability and improved scratch resistance.
The 12" cast and machined wheel head runs on permanently sealed double row ball bearings and includes removable bat pins.
The powerful, cast aluminum foot pedal delivers smooth control and speed range of 0-240 rpms.
Automatic belt tensioning keeps the belt tight for maximum performance and electronic speed control assures maximum torque and smooth response.
