KS-1018 Blank Ring
Description
A blank ring is a 4.5 inch deep extension ring that may be added to most Skutt KilnSitter models to increase the height and overall capacity of the kiln. On multi-section kilns, the ring fits between the master section and the top section. Due to the fact that blank rings increase the volume of the kiln without adding more power, the maximum Cone rating when fired with a blank ring is reduced to cone 1. The ring can be added or removed when necessary.
Increases inside chamber size to 23.38" x 22.5" deep, 5.8 Cubit Feet.
