The controller is packed with features but is so easy to use that your child could program it. The Blue Bird firing chamber is made of high-tech ceramic fiber insulation. The element is seated in pinless grooves in the roof. This is a true high performance kiln you will enjoy using often. The rugged steel case is light weight, portable, with a slotted base. The electrical components stay cool in the louvered switch box for long life. The Blue Bird plugs into a standard household outlet. It draws only 960 watts, less than many hair dryers.
