Cone 05. AMACO F-Series Glazes are fritted, leadless compositions. They are semi-opaque and fire to a high gloss finish. Colors are more intense and brilliant than those of many other glazes. Because AMACO F-Series Glazes are leadless, they are recommended for dinnerware as well as all types of ware made from AMACO pottery clays.

AMACO F-Series Glazes in liquid form are ready-to-use. AMACO F-Series Glazes have a recommended firing temperature of Cone 05 (1911 degrees F, 1044 degrees C). These glazes must be applied on a mature Cone 04 (1971 degrees F, 1077 degrees C) bisque by brushing, dipping, or pouring.

The three White gloss glazes from AMACO offer a variety of finishes when fired. DG-11 Deco White fires to a pure white, LG-11 Opaque White fires white, and F-11 White fires to an off-white.

Tableware producers must have all finished ware tested and approved as safe for dinnerware through a certified laboratory due to possible variations in firing temperature and possible contamination.
