Description
Four techniques: One Glaze. 1. Bisque Underglazes, One Step Method. Colors can be used directly over Cone 04 bisque to create a design, then clear glazed and fired. 2. Majolica. The series of lead free Gloss Decorating Colors has been developed specifically to produce the Majolica technique. Each color can be applied directly over unfired lead free Amaco LG-11 Opaque White glaze. The special formulation of the exciting 36 color series means that no clear glaze is necessary. Colors will fire glossy and assume a smooth surface. Recommended firing temperature is Cone 05. These colors have only been approved safe for dinnerware when applied alone or on top of LG-11. These colors will also produce excellent results when used over most of the LG series as well as F, LM, and the DG series. 3. All-Over Coverage. The Gloss Decorating Colors can also be used for over-all coverage to design over the bisque with no additional glaze over or under it. Apply at least two coats. 4. High Fire Majolica Technique. When Gloss Decorating Colors are used for stoneware, use HF-11 White glaze over bisque. Glaze fire to Cone 5. Most color wil not change.
