These brushes are hand made of pure red sable by skilled brush makers. They have superior spring, magnificent point and great color carrying capacity. They are the result of precision craftsmanship that only 50 years of brushmaking could deliver.Each individual Pure Red Sable hair brush is naturally shaped with a thick belly in the center that tapers to a needle-like point. This extra fine point allows the artist to make the finest line and details possible. The thick belly of the hair acts as a reservoir for holding a generous amount of paint, while at the same time giving support to the point for precise control.
Handles are made of seasoned white birch from New England, to give proper size and balance to each brush.
