Store Policies
Ordering:
Orders placed will be processed as soon as possible. A confirmation email will be sent to the customer upon receipt of an order. Upon shipment of the order, an email will be sent to the customer with shipment tracking information. Orders placed on the weekend or on a holiday will be processed the next business day.
Credit Cards:
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover.
COD’s:
No COD’s accepted.
Purchase Orders:
School and government agency purchase orders are accepted. Freight charges will be pre-paid and added to the invoice. Orders placed by purchase order will be expected to be paid within thirty days of the date of invoice.
Credit and Open Accounts:
Credit and open accounts may be accepted for established wholesale accounts after credit application and review. Our credit account terms are Net 30.
Shipping:
We will do our best to ship products in the most economical manner available. Typically, shipments under 150 pounds will be shipped via the UPS service as selected by the customer at checkout. Shipments over 150 pounds will be shipped via common carrier. An LTL(Less Than Truckload) quote will be provided to the customer for all shipments over 150 pounds. The customer has the option of accepting the quote or arranging the LTL shipment with a carrier of his or her own chosing. Clayworld will try to provide the best rate available to the customer utilizing discounts available to Clayworld by various common carriers. Goods damaged during shipment should be immediately reported to the freight carrier.
Deliveries on Clayworld trucks are available in the immediate San Antonio, TX area. Please call for delivery availability and rates.
We advertise Free Shipping on several items in our catalog. The Free Shipping applies to most destinations in the continental US. Free Shipped is not included to Hawaii, Alaska, or US territories. It also does not include some remote areas of the continental US. If your shipment falls into one of these categories we will contact you to arrange the best available shipment with your approval.
Customer Pick-Up (will calls):
Please provide a 24-hour notice for pick-ups.
Sales Tax:
Texas residents will be charged sales tax with orders placed. If you have a resale certificate on file with Clayworld, then sales taxes will not be collected on tax exempt items.
Return Merchandise:
All returns must be authorized by the store manager. All merchandise must be in original packaging and in usable condition. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges. A 10% restocking fee will be assessed for all returns with the exception of defective merchandise. No return on glazes.
General Disclaimer:
The following is made in lieu of all warranties expressed or implied. Clayworld’s only obligation shall be to replace such quantity of product proven to be defective by standards and methods approved by the ceramic industry. Clayworld will not be responsible or liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use or inability to use the product. The user will assume all risk and liability for products. Before using, Clayworld suggests users test all materials in their process to determine suitability of products for intended use.

When you order from us, we collect personally identifiable information from you. If you order one of our products or services, we will collect and maintain your name, e-mail address, billing address, shipping address, telephone number, product selections, credit card numbers or other payment information. We collect this information in order to efficiently fill your order, to communicate with you about your order and to send you promotional materials. If you do not wish to receive promotional materials please notify customerservice@clayworld.com and your name will be promptly removed from our list. If, however, you authorize us to send you promotional materials, we reserve the right do so by using either the e-mail or the mailing addresses you provided. From time to time we may notify you of special promotions, new products or services, or other information that we believe may interest you.

Clayworld, Inc. reserves the right to perform statistical analyses of user behavior and characteristics, in order to measure interest in and use of the various sections of its sites so as to improve design and navigation and to gather marketing information.
