Description
Brent Slab Rollers are constructed of heavy gauge steel pipe and plate, precision machined parts, permanently sealed bearing and aircraft quality cables. The circular handle (SR-14, 20, 36) moves the roller over the bed through a double cable system and is aligned with vee rollers runnning on angle tracks for smooth operation. The beds consist of masonite shims which can be removed or added to vary the slab thickness from 1/4" to 1-1/4" (1" for SRC). The slab is rolled on the top canvas covered sheet, making it easy to move the rolled slab to a work table. All Brent Slab Rollers have a 1 year warranty.
SR-36" is a large floor model that can produce slabs up to 36"W x 52"L. It includes one 1/4" shim with canvas and one 1/4" plain shim and one 1/8" plain shim. Maximum slab thickness is 7/8". Assembled dimensions: 49"W x 76"L x 40"H.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON SR-36 SLAB ROLLER. Because of the amount of clay and the mechanical pressure that is produced rolling a large slab, the middle of the bed may bow slightly, creating a slab that is thinner on the sides. This variation is more evident when rolling thinner slabs - from 1/2" to 3/8".
